This is an electromechanical crawling thing I built to demonstrate a linkage I invented. The linkage converts rotational motion into a good walking gait. The crawling thing plays a lullaby on a music box to keep you sleeping as it sneaks up on you. This picture is from last year's Maker Faire (spring 2007).
